Over 1,000 college students from around the world attended the three day conference in Kansas City. They had the opportunity to network with other students and listen to presentations from "seasoned entrepreneurs", Gabe Groothius, with Groothius Solutions, advanced to the second round last week at the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization Global Conference and Pitch Competition. He presented his elevator pitch to the panel of judges and placed in the top 16 overall. "I am very thankful for this opportunity to give my pitch a group of amazing individuals," says Gabe. He attended this after winning UNI JPEC's Elevator Pitch competition in the early Fall.
