Sophie Troxell
Marketing Coordinator, JPEC
Sophie Troxell’s journey with Business and Community Services began as a student in the Panther Biz HQ. After graduation in May of 2020, she continued to work virtually and was hired as a full-time virtual employee in 2021, specifically on the IASourceLink team. Although she wears many hats, Troxell primarily handles the creation of three monthly and quarterly IASourceLink newsletters, social media, graphic design, and leads the Panther Biz HQ students through strategic direction of marketing campaigns with Cedar Valley small business owners.
Troxell approaches her work with students as an opportunity to teach and learn herself. Like others, she hopes to continue to grow personally and professionally in order to bring the best version of herself to students.
Hobbies & Interests:
In her free time, Troxell loves to cook. She sees it as a medium for creativity and total immersion into other cultures. She’s visited inner-city high schools with many refugee students and invited them over for meals. Troxell has been known to scour the internet for hours finding the most authentic recipes possible.
