The UNI JPEC connects with hundreds of students annually to host educational workshops on the basics of entrepreneurship.
K-12 sessions with the JPEC can include: 

  • UNI JPEC Student Business Panel
  • Business Pitch Workshop
  • Team Building and Collaboration Workshop
  • Innovation in Entrepreneurship Workshop 
  • Business Mentoring (suitable for entrepreneurship classes)

The JPEC collaborates with the Cedar Falls Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) to help students adapt skills including problem-solving, teamwork and communication. Activities have included an escape room, trust walk and collaborative puzzles. Contact us to host a K-12 workshop at your local school!

Head Start. 

The JPEC provides mentoring to high school and prospective students looking to get a jump start on their entrepreneurial journey. Mentoring includes one-on-one meetings with a JPEC staff member and invitation to use the center and its resources.
